About Me

Who is Ben Archuleta?

Ahoy there, I’m Ben, a Linuxista, writer, photographer, economist, geographer, jack of all trades extraordinaire. For the last eleven years I have been a Linux systems administrator with a specialty in High Performance and GPU accelerated computing. But I am way more than that, I love photography and cinematography with film first and foremost, and digital second. With the purchase of my not so new home, I am also becoming my own general contractor learning the in and out of home maintenance and remodeling, FINALLY I get to use all the knowledge gained from watching Ask This Old House on PBS every Saturday and Sunday morning growing up. Seriously watch Ask This Old House, it’s amazing, and while you’re at it watch some episodes of The New Yankee Workshop with Norm Abram, it’s great too.

If you have a lust for life and love to learn, stay tuned and check back often! We’re going to take a wild journey together, our next stop, the Twilight Zone!

In 2015 I earned my Bachelors of Arts in Economics from the University of New Mexico.
